Salvation Army Kettle campaign seeks volunteers

The Salvation Army is looking for Kewaunee County bell ringers this season.
All money raised through the Salvation Army local kettle campaign stays local.
Last year, more than $17,000 was raised and distributed locally for food, lodging, utilities, fuel and clothing for needy county citizens.
Volunteers are needed to ring bells at various sites in Kewaunee and Luxemburg. Volunteers can register by going to the Salvation Army Website for Kewaunee County at http://www.ringbells.org/.
“While the kettles are at the sites at all times, we have found it more effective to have volunters ringing bells to encourage donations,” said Sheriff Matt Joski, who is coordinating the effort for the Kewaunee and Luxemburg sites.
