Friday, Dec. 11

Children’s Story Hour:  10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, for ages 3-6

Saturday, Dec. 12

Christmas Cookie Walk: 9 a.m.- noon, Community Congregational Church, 502 Center St., Kewaunee, homemade cookies for $7 a pound, containers provided, proceeds to the Lakeshore Community Pantry

A Polar Express at the Club: 9-11 a.m., Algoma Youth Club, 620 Lake St., Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here, hot chocolate, snacks, games, crafts and fun, free.

“Hooray for Hollywood” ticket sales:  8 a.m., Lakeshore Lighthouse, 1614 Center St., Kewaunee, pre-sale for next year’s production “Keep on Moving” by the Kewaunee Young People’s Theater scheduled for Feb. 19-21.

Dyckesville Community Blood Drive:  8 a.m.-noon, St. Louis Church, Parish Center, N8710 County Line Road, for an appointment call 920-737-7428, sponsored by the Dyckesville Lions Club.

15th Annual Carlton Bunny Hunt: 11 a.m., Carlton Fire Department, E4267 County G, Kewaunee, 100 percent payout, $10 per hunter, bar open Friday night 6-10 p.m., call Ed at 920-255-4166 to register.

Sunday, Dec. 13

Winter in the Village opening: 6-9 p.m., Lakehaven Hall, 96 Ellis St., Kewaunee., classic holiday music, village and Santa displays, the Polar Express Model Train, Christmas movies nightly. (see page A4).  The village is open 6-9 p.m. every night through Dec. 19, free admission.  Free cookies, cider and hot chocolate..

Monday, Dec. 14

Gentle-Plus Exercise: 9-10 a.m., St. John Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, for 50 and older

Kewaunee WIC Draft Issuance: 1-3 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee.

Tuesday, Dec. 15

Kewaunee Optimists Club: 7 a.m., Kunkel’s Korner Restaurant, 301 Ellis St., Kewaunee.

Algoma Optimists Club: 7 a.m.  Caffe’ Tlazo, 607 Fourth St., Algoma.

Baby Story Time: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, for babies through 2 years old.

Casco Blood Pressure Clinic: 9-11 a.m., Casco Community Housing, 201 Wiesner Ave., Algoma.

Immunization Clinic: 1-4 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee, appointment required, call 920-388-7160.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

Algoma Immunization Clinic: 3-6 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma.

Winter in the Village Christmas Caroling: 7-7:30 p.m., Lakehaven Hall, 96 Ellis St., Kewaunee.

Thursday, Dec. 17

Kewaunee Rotary Club: 11;45 a.m., The Cork, 306 Ellis St., Kewaunee, $11 for lunch and presentation, all are welcome

Children’s Storytime and Animal Sleepover:  5:30 p.m. Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, bring your stuffed animal and wear your pjs for a special storytime and sleepover for the stuffed animals.

Get Pumped for the Wolves: 6 p.m. Wolves vs. Manitowoc Lutheran, junior varsity boys game, Algoma High School, 1715 Division St., Algoma, learn hands-only CPR during the junior varsity game halftime in the wellness center.

Friday, Dec. 18

Saturday, Dec. 19

AMVETS Post 42 Christmas Dinner: 5:30 p.m., Moxie’s Supper Club, 607 Church Ave., Casco, call Vince at 920-365-6306.
