Ganz named assistant coach at St. Norbert
Keil Ganz, head coach for Kewaunee High School ‘s varsity boys basketball, has been named assistant boys basketball coach at St. Norbert College, according to head coach Gary Grzesk.
Ganz’s position is effective immediately. He will be assisting with basketball camp and recruiting this summer for the Division III school before official practice begins in October, Grzesk said.
“I’ve followed his career from a distance,” said Grzesk, adding that the timing seemed right for both of them.
“I really enjoyed Kewaunee, but I have always wanted to coach at the college level and the opportunity presented itself,” said Ganz,who was head coach at Kewaunee for two years.
St. Norbert had a 25-3 record last season and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament.
