Friday, Sept. 2

Farmer’s Market: opens 8 a.m., Clock Corner Pavilion, corner of Milwaukee and Miller streets, Kewaunee.

Kewaunee Immunization Clinic: 9-11 a.m., Kewaunee Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee. Appointment required, call 920-388-7160.

Raku Gallery Night: 5-9 p.m., Clay on Steele, 221 Steele, St., Algoma. Paint your own Raku pot for $10 and up; Witness your pot being pulled from a kiln at 1,850 degrees. Algoma Pizza Bowl pizza available. 920-487-3501

Saturday, Sept. 3

Used book sale: 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 1325 Ellis St, Kewaunee, sponsored by Friends of the Library.

Modified Garden Tractor Pull: noon-5 p.m., Cedar Valley Campground, N5098 Cedar Valley Road, Kewaunee, food and refreshments, music by AJ DJ 7 p.m.-midnight. 920-388-4983.

Sunday, Sept. 4

Customer Appreciation Party: 3-5:30 p.m., Davister’s Bar & Restaurant, 5970 Humboldt Road, Luxemburg.  Music by the Sugarbush Boys. No cover charge. 920-621-6471

Kewaunee County Farmer’s Market: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., The Flying Pig, N6945 Wisconsin 42, Algoma.   Local food and farm products, fruits, produce, fresh egss, baked bread, jams, jellies and canned goods. REN Grill serves organic burgers and brats.

Kewaunee Music in the Park: 5:30-8 p.m., Harbor Park, corner of Harrison and Milwaukee St., Kewaunee,  music by Spice, 50s, 60s, and 70s oldies but goodies.

Monday, Sept. 5

Labor Day: Government offices closed.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

Algoma Optimists Club: 7 a.m., Caffe Tlazo, 607 Fourth St., Algoma.

Kewaunee Optimists Club: 7 a.m., Kunkels Korner, 301 Ellis St., Kewaunee.

Baby story time: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma. For babies and toddlers birth through 2 years old. 920-487-2295

Sheepshead: 1 p.m., Algoma Youth Club, 620 Lake St. Algoma Golden Agers Card Club, open to anyone 50 and over. 920-487-5404 or 920-487-2735.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

Blood pressure clinic: 1-3 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee.

Thursday, Sept. 8

Kewaunee Rotary Club: 11:45 a.m., Port O’Call, 310 Milwaukee St., Kewaunee, $11 for lunch and presentation, all are welcome.

Algoma Lions Club Annual Steak Fry Fundraiser: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Craig’s Piggly Wiggly, 2025 Lake St.,  Algoma. Meal includes steak sandwich, chips and bottled water for $6. Proceeds raised go to support local scholarships, public library, Lions Camp, vision and diabetes awareness programs and resources.

Friday, Sept. 9

Story hour: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St. Algoma. For children ages 3-6 years old. 920-487-2295

Saturday, Sept. 10

Fall Harvest Fest: noon-6 p.m., Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery, N2185 Sleepy Hollow Road, Kewaunee. Wine sampling, vineyard tours, live music, local food vendors, arts and crafts. Traditional grape stomp and Kids Grape Stomp at 3 p.m. www.parallel44.com.

Dog Swim Day: Kewaunee Village RV Park, 333 Terraqua Drive, Kewaunee. Donations will go to Kewaunee K-9 Program.

Sheila Fest: 6-10 p.m., Sheila’s Bar, N2103 Manitowoc Road, Denmark. Parade at 6 p.m. Sugarbush Boys 6-10 p.m. All food sales go to Dan Selner Benefit. No cover charge.
