Friday, Oct. 7

Farmer’s Market: opens 8 a.m., Clock Corner Pavilion, corner of Milwaukee and Miller streets, Kewaunee.

Kewaunee Immunization Clinic: 9-11 a.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee. Appointment required; call 920-388-7160 to schedule.

Algoma Library Friends bake sale: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Algoma Visitor Center, 1226 Lake St., Algoma. Bring donations to the library Thursday, Oct. 6, or on Friday morning. All proceeds go to library programs or equipment. For more information, call Joan 920-487-7248.

Story hour: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St. Algoma. For children ages 3-6 years old. 920-487-2295

Preschool Story Time: 10:30 a.m., Kewaunee Public Library, 822 Juneau St., Kewaunee.

Saturday, Oct. 8

Free pumpkins: 11 a.m. until they’re gone, Legion Park, Algoma.  An act of service by St. John’s Lutheran Church, Algoma.  Many thanks to Hillside Orchards for donating the pumpkins.

Used book sale: 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at our new location, 1325 Ellis St., Kewaunee. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Sunday, Oct. 9

Kewaunee County Farmer’s Market: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., The Flying Pig, N6945 Wisconsin 42, Algoma.   Local food and farm products, fruits, produce, fresh eggs, baked bread, jams, jellies and canned goods. REN Grill serves organic burgers and brats.

51st Casco Kermiss: Jim’s Bar and Bowl, 312 Main St., Casco. Come and celebrate with Donna Lauscher and her family. Music from 2-6 p.m. by the Greatest Hits Polka Band.

Monday, Oct. 10

Gentle Plus Senior Exercise: 9-10 a.m., St John’s Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, Mondays and Wednesdays through Nov. 2. The fun class where you don’t even realize your exercising. No set fees; donations are welcomed. Any questions call Diane 609-2765.

Kewaunee WIC Draft Issuance: 1-3 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee.

Wisconsin 42 improvement meeting: 5-7 p.m., Kewaunee City Hall, 401 Fifth St., Kewaunee. Presentation at 5:15 p.m. Public involvement meeting to discuss proposed pavement and bridge improvements to Wisconsin 42 from Miller Street to Duvall Street in the city of Kewaunee, scheduled for 2021.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Movie: 1 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma. A 2016 film starring Jennifer Garner, Kylie Rogers, and Martin Henderson that follows a young girl suffering from a rare digestive disorder who finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident. Rated PG.

Fall dinner: 4:30-7 p.m., St. Mary Catholic Church, 1406 Main St., Luxemburg. Raffles, silent auction, grab bags. Takeouts available.

Kewaunee County Farm Bureau annual meeting: 7:30 p.m., JW’s Place, N5685 County E, Slovan.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Kewaunee Rotary Club: 11:45 a.m., The Karsten Hotel, 122 Ellis St., Kewaunee, $11 for lunch and presentation, all are welcome.

VFW Post 3392 brat fry: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Piggly Wiggly, 931 Marquette Drive, Kewaunee.

Friday, Oct. 14
