HOWARD – Authorities have released the name of the man who died last week after being pinned between two semitractors.

Jason Vogeltanz, 36, of Kewaunee, died March 2 after he was pinned between semitractors at Klemm Tank Lines, 2204 Pamperin Road, according to a Brown County Sheriff’s Office news release.

It happened just after 5 a.m. Vogeltanz had been driving one of the trucks and was attempting to tow the other, which had gotten stuck.

Authorites said Vogeltanz got out of his truck for an unknown reason and was somehow pinned between the two semis.

Officers freed Vogeltanz and performed CPR. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital, where he later died.

The incident is still under investigation.
