Kewaunee Chamber offers bus rides to Packers games

The Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce has arranged game-day motorcoach transportation to all Green Bay Packers home games for the 2017 season.
The bus will pick up riders at the Harbor Inn Motel in Algoma three hours before kickoff time. Kewaunee stops will include the Coho Motel and Harbor Lights Lodge. The bus will then head to Janda’s Bar in Ellisville for pickup approximately two and a half hours before kickoff.
Vicki Vollenweider, Kewaunee Chamber president and owner of the Coho Motel, said she gets many inquiries from guests asking if there is transportation from Kewaunee to the football game. Because of this constant request, Vollenweider asked the chamber board to consider arranging transportation to the games.
“As a chamber member and president, I am always looking for ways the chamber can help all local businesses,” Vollenweider said. “Providing transportation would be a great way to meet the needs of visitors in Kewaunee and increase tourism to the area, thereby helping the restaurants and other local establishments.”
The bus will depart on its return trip to Kewaunee County one hour after the end of the games from the Moose Lodge at 846 Morris Ave., a few blocks south of Lambeau Field.
The price is $20 per rider for roundtrip transportation. Tickets can be purchased online at www.kewaunee.org. For more information, call Molly at 920-388-4822.
