Local girl Conard in Wisconsin pageant

Victoria Conard of Luxemburg was chosen to compete in the state finals of the National American Miss Wisconsin Pageant taking place Aug. 26 at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Conard is in contention for Miss Princess Wisconsin, the 4-to-6-year-old division of the National American Miss pageants. Should Conard win the state crown, she will compete in the national pageant during Thanksgiving week at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. She also will receive a $1,000 cash award, a crown, banner and bouquet of roses, air transportation to the national pageant, and a tour of Hollywood while in California.
The 6-year-old daughter of Lisa Frisque, Conard is active in horseback riding, swimming and 4-H. She also enjoys playing T-Ball, drawing and painting, fishing and hiking.
National American Miss holds pageants for girls ages 4 to 18 in five different age groups. It claims to be the largest pageant system in the country and awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes to help young girls develop. For more, go to www.nammiss.com.
