KEWAUNEE – The Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking people to paint art banners to be seen in downtown Kewaunee this summer and fall for its third annual Art Walk. A class will be held March 10 for those interested, and preregistration is required.

The Art Walk is intended to showcase the work of artists in the greater Kewaunee area with an outdoor gallery of banners on display from mid-June through mid-October. People who feel they have some artistic talent and a desire to share it are invited to take part.

The March 10 class, offered by the chamber and Kewaunee Artisan Center, will teach proper canvas preparation and sealing of the banner, protecting it from the ultraviolet rays of the sun.

To sign up or for more information, call the chamber at 920-388-4822 or email [email protected] by March 7.
