Kewaunee County election results: One incumbent wins, another defeated

One incumbent defended his seat but another was upended in Tuesday's spring elections in Kewaunee County.
Town of Luxemburg Chairperson David Barrett held off challenger Robert Berger to win reelection, 180-158.
In the Town of Lincoln, challenger Jordan Nowak beat incumbent Nick Cochart for the Supervisor 1 seat, 206-117.
The other Town Chairperson race was in West Kewaunee, where Dan Kassner defeated Milt Swagel, 244-175. They were running to replace Tom Kruse, who did not seek another term.
Also in the Town of Luxemburg, Amanda Nimmer was elected Town Clerk by beating Jennifer Rank, 239-86. The two were vying to replace Marilyn Barrett, who did not seek reelection.
Those four races were the only ones contested in the county. Several required write-in candidates to fill open seats, but results need to be verified by the county's Board of Canvassers.
