Algoma High School plans Homecoming week activities

ALGOMA – Algoma High School will be celebrating Homecoming the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 5. The events scheduled will include a parade, football games and spirit activities.
The Powder Puff Football game will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Perry Field. A pep assembly will be held Friday at 1:40 p.m. in the high school gym.
The Homecoming Parade will be held Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Algoma Long-Term Care Facility, 1510 Fremont St., and proceed along Fremont Street to downtown Algoma.

The Homecoming football game against Gibraltar will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday with the 2019 Homecoming Court presented at halftime. The AHS Homecoming Dance will be held Oct. 5 in the Algoma Auxiliary Gym. Doors open at 8 p.m.
The themes for Spirit Days will be as follows: Monday, VSCO; Tuesday, Country; Wednesday, Class Colors; Thursday, Jersey; and Friday, Black and Gold.
