Check out some of Kewaunee County’s best food and beverages at “Boo-z & Bites” event

LUXEMBURG – Guests can sample foods and beverages from across Kewaunee County at Boo-z & Bites on Wednesday evening.

The benefit event, formerly known as Taste of the County before taking its new, Halloween-season name this year, brings together 16 local breweries, wineries, restaurants, food producers, and food and beverage vendors to offer sample-size portions of their wares. Some beverages may be available in larger sizes for an additional cost. Raffles will be held.

Foods and drinks will be supplied by Ahnapee Brewery, Cold Country Vines & Wines, Don’s Bakery, Janda’s Bar & Grill, Jeff’s Sports Bar & Grill, Kay Distributing, Kewaunee County Dairy Promotion, Northbrook Golf & Grill, Harbor Grounds, Parallel 44 Vineyard and Winery, Pharmhouse Cafe & Market, Port O’Call, The Rendezvous of Luxemburg, Stodola’s IGA, Thumb Knuckle Brewing Co. and von Stiehl Winery.

Boo-z & Bites runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30 in Exhibit Hall at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds, 625 Third St., Luxemburg. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Kewaunee for its community programs, Kewaunee County Economic Development Corp. and the Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
