DENMARK – The Kewaunee High softball team lost a pair of low-scoring games last weekend, falling to Valders before losing to Denmark on the diamond at Circle Tap Bar & Grill on May 6, and then rebounded by obliterating Gibraltar/Washington Island at Gibraltar in another doubleheader on Tuesday.-

Saturday’s first game saw Jenna Rohr take a tough loss on the mound, going the whole game, fanning five while giving up nine hits.
The Storm’s lone RBI came in the second inning off the bat of Summer Walecka.
Kewaunee was unable to get anything going offensively in Saturday’s second game as Breanna Riha, Rohr, Lexie Hanrahan, Hannah Morton and Mariah Schlies each had a hit but were unable to reach home base.
In six innings of work in game two, Rohr struck out three and gave up eight hits.
