KEWAUNEE – The Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (KACOC) is bringing back its Green Bay Packers Game Day Bus, designed to shuttle game attendees to and from Lambeau Field for select home games this fall.
Participants can be picked up from their choice of the Algoma Youth Club in Algoma, approximately four-and-a-quarter hours before kickoff, or Coho Motel or Harbor Lights Lodge in Kewaunee, approximately four hours before kickoff.
The bus will leave Lambeau Field one hour after the end of the game from the Appliance Service Center located at 786 Morris Avenue, a few blocks south of the stadium.
“The idea is to get people to come to Kewaunee for the weekend and spend time in our cute little town here and see what we have to offer, and then we’ll provide the transportation to Lambeau Field and have people enjoy all the festivities that come with that and then come back to Kewaunee” said Jenny Wergin, acting as spokesperson for KACOC.
The KACOC has provided the Game Day Bus for around 10 years as a way to provide “transportation and a fun atmosphere to and from the game,” said Wergin.
Wergin also said that ticket buyers needn’t worry about the bus being canceled if not enough tickets are sold. In case of low registration, the KACOC has a smaller shuttle bus that they have used in the past to transport game attendees.
