Bjurstrom recognized by NACAA

KEWAUNEE COUNTY – Aerica Bjurstrom, regional dairy educator for Kewaunee, Door and Brown counties, was recently recognized at the National Association of County Agriculture Agents (NACAA) annual meeting held in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bjurstrom was a national finalist in three communication award categories: educational video, website/online content ( also included Extension Kewaunee County Communications & Educational Program Support Specialist Erin Dahle) and computer generated graphics.
The purpose of these awards is to recognize county extension agriculture agents for outstanding use of communication platforms to disseminate information on agricultural topics.
The National finalists will be notified in May of their status by the National Communications Chair.
The National Winner will not be announced until the Communications Award Luncheon at the annual meeting and professional improvement conferences.
NACAA membership consists of extension educations in the United States working in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, 4-H youth development, administration, aquaculture and other related disciplines.
