2025 Reverend Milton M. Suess Memorial Scholarship awarded

LUXEMBURG – The 2025 Reverend Milton M. Suess Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Harrison Micoley on June 22. Harrison will be a sixth-grade student at St. Mary School in Luxemburg in the upcoming school year. The Reverend Milton Suess Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2020 after the passing of Fr. Suess to provide the recipient with full tuition for one year at either St. Mary School in Luxemburg or Holy Trinity School in Casco.

Fr. Suess served as Pastor of Immaculate Conception (St. Mary) Parish, Luxemburg for 38 years. Fr. Suess also served as temporary Administrator and Pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Champion for five years. In his last 14 years, in addition to serving as Pastor of St. Mary Parish, he also served as Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Casco/Slovan (St. Adalbert Chapel). Father Suess received senior status in 2018 and continued to celebrate Masses at St. Mary Parish until the time of his passing in December 2020.
