Algoma Chamber attends Ice Age Trail Alliance Annual Conference

Posted

ALGOMA – The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to represent the community at the Ice Age Trail Alliance’s (IATA) Annual Conference in Stevens Point on April 11.

Visitor Services and Volunteer Coordinator Kiera Bair and Online Media Manager Robyn Harper had the opportunity to share all Algoma has to offer with members of the Alliance as well as other IATA communities. They handed out literature, spoke about the plans for the trailhead on 6th and Perry streets and all the murals located on or near the newly blazed Algoma segment of the Ice Age Trail.

There were many positive remarks made by both those who have already been to Algoma and those planning to make Algoma a stop in 2025. Initial plans are in the works for events throughout the year, including in October during the Ice Age Trail Alliance’s Mammoth Hike Challenge.
