Algoma Public Library’s Easter egg hunt

Posted

ALGOMA – The Algoma Public Library’s annual Easter egg hunt will return on Friday, April 3 from 1-2 p.m. This beloved community tradition offers a variety of festive activities for families to enjoy together. Attendees can search for hidden eggs filled with treats.

Beyond the hunt, the library will also provide games and hands-on craft projects for participants. A highlight of this year’s celebration is a special appearance by Harvey, the library’s seven-foot inflatable bunny, who will be available to greet visitors.

This event is part of a broader month of programming at the library. Renee Koenig of UW Extension will host a Money Smart program every Wednesday in April from 1-3:30 p.m., offering financial education for adults.

• April 1: Learn your money color with a fun personal style quiz

• April 8: Money saving tips for tough times

• April 15: Community resources

• April 22: Money Matters program

• April 29: End-of-life planning

The library also offers recurring programs including Toddler Time every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and an “Afternoon Free Build” session using LEGO bricks on Wednesday, April 22, from 3-4 p.m.

For more information about the Easter egg hunt or other upcoming events, community members can visit the library at 406 Fremont St., call 920-487-2295, or check their website at www.algomapubliclibrary.org.
