Arlene Effie Daul, age 90 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away at home on May 18, 2026, in the care of her family.
Arlene was born February 23, 1936, in Prairie Lake, Wisconsin to David A. and Lula P. (nee Woods) Solchenberger.
On May 1, 1954, she was united in marriage to Myron J. Daul in Algoma, Wisconsin. They shared 50 years together.
Arlene retired from Hansen’s Piggly Wiggly in Slinger.
Through the years she enjoyed rummaging, making memory books, bird watching, crocheting and reading.
She is survived by her children; Daniel Daul, Diane (Jeff) Williamson, Darlene (Bruce) Nickel; sister, Patty Simonar; sister-in-law, Elaine Daul; grandchildren, Michael Daul, Cassandra Williamson, Abigale Nickel and Natalie Nickel, as well as many other loved relatives and friends.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents David A. and Lula P. Solchenberger; husband, Myron J. Daul; infant daughter, Linda; brother, David J. Solchenberger; sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Gagnon, and Edith Grignon.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to their Aunt Patty for all she did for their mother through the years.
Memorial Services for Arlene will be held Friday, May 29th at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford, WI 53027) at 2:30 p.m.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. with the Very Reverand Rick Stoffel officiating.
Memorial contributions in Arlene’s memory can be made out to St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Slinger or to the Daul family and are greatly appreciated
