CASCO – Kewaunee County Emergency Management is inviting residents to properly dispose of unwanted agricultural and household hazardous waste as well as medications, opioids and sharps during the department's 2018 Clean Sweep collection.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon April 21 at the Kewaunee County Hillside Highway Shop, E2180 State 54, Casco. There is no charge to take part. Residents wishing to dispose of materials should register before April 13.
Volunteers with Kewaunee County will be on site, unloading items brought there with the help of Veolia Environmental Services. The service is made possible with grants received from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as well as funding from Kewaunee County Families and Communities Encouraging Success (FACES).
