Cruise ship season is underway

Posted

ALGOMA – The first cruise ship of the 2025 season arrived on Monday, May 26.

The passengers were greeted by ‘Friendly Algoma’ and volunteer Algoma Ambassadors as they disembarked.

Visitors by land and sea used the Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce’s mobile Visitor Center, located in Heritage Park, to get information about the area. This year the chamber has added a news tent.

As the chamber has done in past seasons, each cruise ship guest receives a LOVE Algoma bag with a Friendly Algoma guidebook and a sheet listing who will be open and what specials, if any, will be available for those days. Find the schedule at www.visitalgomawi.com/events/united-states/wisconsin/algoma/community-events/2025-viking-cruise-ship-visits/. The next Cruise Ship Day is Sunday, June 8.

To be included on the sheet for the next ship, visit www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/9WP6oxDF29nzpbf22UyE1 to submit events and activities, or even if your business is just open for the summer.
