Drivers asked to detour near Farm Tech Days site

ALGOMA - The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department is asking drivers to avoid a section of County K while site preparation is under way for Wisconsin Farm Technology Days.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route around County K between County D and Wisconsin 54 near Algoma because this is the primary route used by volunteers and vendors who are traveling to Ebert Enterprises, LLC, the host family’s farm. Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski said he’d like to keep setup work running smoothly at Ebert Enterprises.

“We would like to create as safe of an environment as possible for all of those who are working to make this event for Kewaunee County a great success,” Joski said.

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is the state’s largest agricultural show, traditionally drawing 45,000 people annually over the course of its three days. This year’s event is the first time it will be held in Kewaunee County, taking place July 11 to 13.

“Thank you for your understanding and thank you to all who are working so tirelessly to make the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2017 the best it can be,” Joski said.
