Jeanne Marie Pinchard, 96, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 19, 1928, in Lincoln, Wisconsin, on the family farm and delivered by Dr. Edward Kerscher, to the late Anton and Lena (Gigot) Defnet. On October 11, 1952, she married the love of her life, with whom she had met at a St. Norbert College Football Dance, Eugene “Gene” Pinchard, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Casco. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1986.
Jeanne was a graduate of Casco High School and served as the Head Majorette with the Marching Band. She worked as an executive secretary with the National Cheese Exchange and in marketing with Schreiber Cheese. Jeanne also worked with her husband at Pinchard Pharmacy where she delivered prescriptions in her red Volkswagen.
She was a talented athlete in her younger years, participating in golf, bowling and ice skating. Jeanne enjoyed watching the Brewers play, Friday night fish fries and spending time with her family. Taking car rides with her family and attending the grandchildren’s activities brought her great joy. Jeanne was very friendly and caring and had a knack for socializing with anyone. Her proudest accomplishment was her family and seeing the love and happiness they had with each other.
She is survived by her children, Mary Bukoski, Lee Pinchard, Martha Pinchard and Steven Pinchard; grandchildren, Kelly (John) Laughrin, Dan (Andi) Bukoski and John Mogan; great grandchildren, Clover, Maycie, Ruby, Esme and Max; brother, Robert (Joyce) Defnet; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Bukoski; brothers, Donald Defnet and Sherman Defnet; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lee and Martha Pinchard; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Ann (Vince) Fonder;
Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Green Bay. Entombment at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
