"Numerous juveniles" have been referred to juvenile court for vandalism to mailboxes in rural Kewaunee County, according to a news release Thursday from Sheriff Matt Joski.
"Recently Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating a large number of complaints involving damaged mailboxes mostly in the western portion of Kewaunee County," says Joski's statement. "Suspects were identified and the investigation revealed that seven juveniles were involved with damaging the mailboxes.
"The juveniles will be referred to the juvenile justice system for their actions and restitution will be requested for all of the damaged mailboxes."
