KEWAUNEE COUNTY — The Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC) will host its inaugural Kewaunee County Small Business Expo, set to take place on Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds, 213 Elm St., Luxemburg.
The expo works to showcase the “diverse range of businesses that contribute to the fabric of our community,” a KCEDC stated.
“All small businesses based in Kewaunee County are invited to participate in this exciting event and showcase their offerings.
“Admission to the expo will be free for all attendees, offering an excellent opportunity for the community to discover and support local small businesses. In addition to celebrating local businesses, the expo will also serve a philanthropic purpose.”
Proceeds from the event will go towards establishing a scholarship fund for Kewaunee County high school students.
“We are excited to host the first Kewaunee County Small Business Expo, which not only celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in our county but also provides a platform for businesses to connect with the community,” said Ben Nelson, KCEDC executive director. “Furthermore, by directing proceeds towards a scholarship fund, we are investing in the future of our community and supporting the educational aspirations of local students.”
