Keith Mehn defeated Jeff Wisnicky by a vote of 4,093 to 3,831 in the race for Kewaunee County Circuit Court judge.

Mehn, a partner in the law firm of Slatky, Wolske and Mehn, has also served as circuit court commissioner from 1992 to the present and as Kewaunee city attorney from 1992 to 1994.

Wisnicky is currently Kewaunee County corporation counsel and assistant district attorney.

"It was a close race, and at the end of the day Keith prevailed by about 200 votes," Wisnicky said.  "I want to acknowledge Andy Naze and congratulate Keith."

Keith Mehn, left, with daughter and campaign manager Sarah Miller and congressional candidate Terry McNulty at the Port'O Call in Kewaunee Tuesday night.

Naze, the Kewaunee County district attorney, was eliminated when Mehn and Wisnicky emerged from the February primary election.
