Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days accepting scholarship applications

KEWAUNEE COUNTY - The Kewaunee County Farm Technology Days Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for its annual student scholarships.

The scholarships are open to any student who is an alumnus of Algoma, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Denmark, Southern Door or Mishicot school districts. The applicants must be enrolled in an accredited school and in the second half of their post-secondary education program, among other requirements. 

One student alumnus from each of the six qualifying districts will be awarded $1,000, for a total of $6,000 each year. The Farm Technology Days committee said in a press release it hopes to award scholarships to at least 70 students over the next 10 years.
