Clay on Steele Gallery Night: 5-9 p.m., 221 Steele St, Algoma, join us for pizza from algoma Pizza Bowl during our exciting Raku Firing.  Witness pots pulled out of a kiln at 1850 degrees Fahrenheit.  rt

Sunday, July 3 

Grandfather Clock Dedication: 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Milwaukee Street and Harrison Street, Kewaunee, food and music, ribbon cutting at 4 p.m.

Kewaunee County Farmer's Market: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., The Flying Pig, N6945 Wisconsin 42, Algoma, local food and farm product, fruits, produce, fresh eggs, baked bread, jams, jellies and canned goods.  REN Grill serves organic burgers and brats..

Monday, July 4

Firecracker 5K Run/Walk: registration begins at 7:30 a.m., Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m., meet at Grandfather Clock in downtown Kewaunee.

Veterans for Parade:  All available veterans are invited to join American Legion Post 29 members to lead the parade.   Please meet on Lincoln Street in Kewaunee, south of the Kewaunee High School at the Kewaunee Nursing Home by 2:40 p.m.  Let's help honor our great country on the day of its birthday.

Treasure Hunt up the Kewaunee River: 9 a.m.-noon, Kewaunee Marina, kayak or canoe up the Kewaunee River for a grand tour and treasure hunt, you must provide your own boat

Smokehouse Jamboree: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Barnsite Retreat and Events Center, 109 Duvall St., Kewaunee, down-home pig roast with the usual picnic favorites, msuic raffles, bake sale, smoked meat samplings and on-going games for children including a life-size Candyland.  The first annual Pentathlon, including wiffle baseball, egg toss, three-legged race, sack race and Pie Eating contest with the top scoring team to receive team trophy.  Art available for purchase from local vendors including jewelers, potters, photographers, painters and fiber artists, silent acution, bucket raffles, proceeds to Violence Intervention Project.

Kewaunee Fourth of July Parade: 3 p.m. Kewaunee High School, 911 Third St., follows route on Center Street to downtown Kewaunee.

Fourth of July at Lakehaven Hall:  11 a.m., 93 Ellis St., Kewaunee, fish fry, burger, brats, games, face painting and music while waiting for fireworks to begin, Sugarbush Boys polka band 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Muskrat City brats and Burgers 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., kids activities and games 3 p.m.-dusk, Dynamics soft rock 6:30 p.m..

Kewaunee Fireworks: dusk, Kewaunee Harbor, downtown Kewaunee, spread out your blanket at Harbor Park or watch from Lakehaven Hall as the fireworks display honors the country's birthday.

Tuesday, July 5

Story Time: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma, children ages birth to 5 are invited with their caretakers to read some fun books that will get the kids moving.

Thursday, July 7

Petting Zoo: 10-11 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma, we will have miniature horses, cows, bunnies and gats out on the library's front lawn.

Kewaunee WIC Draft Issuance: 8 a.m.-noon, Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St. Kewaunee.

Healthy Choices Market: 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Health and Human Services Building, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee, variety of vegetables for sale.

Kewaunee Rotary Club:  11:45 a.m., The Cork, 311 Ellis St., Kewaunee, $11 for lunch and presentation, all are welcome.

Algoma Summer Concerts in the Park: 6 p.m., Algoma Community Band, 7 p.m., Chicago Farmer, Heritage Park, Lake St, Algoma, bring your family and your lawn chairs and enjoy this lakeshore venue.

Luxemburg Summer Music in the Park: tailgate 5:30 p.m., music 6-8 p.m., Fireman Park, corner of Second Street and Maple Street, Petty Cash, a variety of songs, bandk sponsored by Billy's on Main.

Algoma Citywide Garage Sale: 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., map available at Algoma Visitors Center, Wisconsin42, Algoma beginning on July 7, to register by July 1 pick up a form at the visitors Center, cost is $8 for single family and $12 for a group, balloons, signs, and placement on the map included with registration.  For further information, call 920-487-5498, sponsored by Community Improvement of Algoma Main Street Program.

Lakehshore Area Vintage Snowmobile Association Show: 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Ellis St. in downtown Kewaunee, vintage snowmobile show, awards at 4 p.m., great food, roast pork dinner 11 a.m. until gone, music by Greatest Hits Polka Band noon-4 p.m. and Adam Trask 6-10 p.m., for more information call 920-255-4367.

Kewaunee Veterans Car Show: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Ellis St., Kewaunee, more than 125 cars in 22 classes, judged show, registration 9-11 a.m., voting closes at 1 p.m., awards at 3 p.m., $10 fee per vehicle, DJ and raffles, free to public, fund raiser for Kewaunee American Legion Post 29 and VFW Post 3392.
