Monday, Oct. 17

Gentle Plus Senior Exercise: 9-10 a.m., St John’s Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, Mondays and Wednesdays through Nov. 2. The fun class where you don’t even realize your exercising. No set fees; donations are welcomed. Any questions call Diane 609-2765.

Pumpkin Carving and Painting: 1-3 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma. Families are invited to come create a pumpkin masterpiece using paints, markers or even the old-fashioned way – carving! Limited pumpkin supplies available; if you have a pumpkin already please feel free to bring it along and decorate it. Free and open to the public. Guest speaker Miss Racine Haley Schonter will discuss "Step Up: Abuse Intervention and Prevention." Performance by Algoma High School Choir. VIP will light Chinese lanterns in memory of each victim who lost his/her life to domestic violence in Wisconsin in 2015. Candles will be lit in honor of each victim Violence Intervention Project served in 2015. Gathering in the church afterward with complimentary chicken booyah and hot beverages. Halloween Party: 5-7 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma. Get your costumes ready for this annual party. The Girl Scouts will have a haunted house 6-7 p.m. Crafts, a photo booth, treats and games. All ages are encouraged to participate in the scavenger hunt held throughout the library. Beware of ghosts and goblins lurking in the shadows. Costumes are not required but it is encouraged. Free and open to the public.

Kewaunee Moonriders Snowmobile Club: 7:30 p.m., Outback Tavern, E2696 Krok Road, Kewaunee.
