KEWAUNEE – A new service being provided by the Kewaunee County Register of Deeds is giving the public the option to purchase copies of real estate records online at any time.
The public can find a link to records by clicking “Real Estate Search & Copies” under the Quick Links section on the Kewaunee County website.
A preview of the record details is available for free, but in order to purchase copies, the cost starts at $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. There also is a $5 online service fee.
To purchase copies of real estate records, go to the county government website, www.kewauneeco.org, then:
¶ Click "Real Estate Search & Copies” under the Quick Links tab on the far right of the home page;
¶ Click the "I accept the above terms and conditions" button;
¶ Click the Guest Login button at the bottom (skip the Group, User ID, Password);
¶ Complete Captcha and click "Submit Code";
¶ Complete Search Criteria (name, book/page, parcel number);
¶ Click on a record to select it;
¶ Click "Add to Cart" to purchase;
¶ Click "Shopping Cart" to check out;
¶ Click "Checkout" and complete payment Information;
¶ Click "Submit";
¶ View Documents Online.
The public can still purchase hard copies of real estate records at the Register of Deeds office. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Mondays through Fridays.
