KEWAUNEE - The Kewaunee County Sherifff’s Department is seeking information to find a vehicle involved in a hit and run incident at 12:30 p.m. Sunday along Wisconsin 42 north of the city limits.
The suspected vehicle was reported to be a silver Pontiac and may be a Grand Am, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
The vehicle was heading north on Wisconsin 42 when it left the road and crossed a homeowner's yard, went up and over a driveway embankment, grazed a tree and drove through another neighbor's yard before continuing north on the highway, the report said.
No injuries were reported. The vehicle has undercarriage damage and possible damage to the roof where it grazed the tree. The vehicle also is missing the driver-side mirror which was found at the scene, the report said.
