LUXEMBURG – Longstanding Kirchman Chiropractic originally owned by Dr. Lance Kirchman since 1988, turns to an exciting new chapter with new ownership by the DaWalt family.

Dr. Guy DaWalt and his wife Dr. Sami DaWalt attended Palmer College of Chiropractice in Davenport, IA.

Sami began receiving chiropractic care at a very young age due to sports injuries.

As a young athlete she began to see the benefits immediately and recognized that chiropractic work helped increase her overall focus and performance and decreased the amount of injuries and severity.

Guy states that his interest didn’t come until a little bit later in his childhood when he too started receiving chiropractic care due to a sports injury.

Similar to his wife, he realized how quickly he recovered from his injury and thus the initial spark was lit for him as well.

The interests kept developing over time and soon both Guy and Sami would go to school to become the very people that helped them realize their own passion for the field.

Sami graduated in 2019, and began her solo career right away.

A year, Guy graduated and followed suit in his own independent career.

The two were brought together about a year or so later by mutual friends and similarly, another spark was lit.

Through working independently and balancing a relationship and creating a family of their own, they realized a common goal they shared.

One day, they wanted to own their own practice.

That day came last month when the family bought Kirchman Chiropractic.

“Owning our own practice has always been our dream. Kirchman Chiropractic felt like the perfect fit as a beautiful building in the middle of Luxemburg,” Guy stated.

The couple said that they are thrilled about this new chapter and have exciting plans for the new year.

Sami is completing her pediatric and prenatal certification this year after two years of education and training.

They also plan on adding more nutrition resources and classes with an in-house nutritionist and will expand to offer limited Saturday hours.

Kirchman will continue to see patients.
