WIAA girls softball regional play gets underway Thursday. In Div. 2, Luxemburg-Casco got a two-seed, and will host the winner of New London and Marinette Tuesday. With a win, they’ll host the winner of Seymour and Freedom Thursday for a regional championship. The Spartans are ranked 8th in Div. 2. North Eastern Conference champion Denmark is ranked 5th.

In Div. 3, Chilton and Mishicot play Tuesday to see who gets to face top-seed Southern Door Thursday. Kewaunee has first-round bye and also plays Thursday, 5-seed Storm at 4-seed Brillion. The winner likely will get the Eagles for the regional title. Southern Door is ranked 9th in this week’s Div. 3 state poll.

Unranked Algoma gets a top seed in their Div. 4 bracket. The Wolves will host the winner of Montello at Sevastopol Tuesday. Should they win, Algoma would host the regional title Thursday against Markesan or Manitowoc Lutheran.
