Move, laugh and win with Bingocize

Posted

ALGOMA – The ADRC of the Lakeshore is excited to bring back Bingocize — a fun, innovative and engaging health and wellness program. Bingocize combines the classic game of bingo with physical activity, creating a unique and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Bingocize aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle while fostering a sense of community and social connection. Bingocize is designed to be inclusive, making it accessible to individuals of varying fitness levels and abilities.

Participants are guided through a range of exercises that contribute to overall well-being, including increased range of motion, better cognitive functioning and more mobility and independence.

“Bingocize was a great experience for me. It helped me physically, mentally and socially. Physically, it improved my strength, balance and energy. Mentally it improved my mood and a better sleep pattern and socially I met new friends to exercise, laugh and play bingo with,” KC resident Wendy W. said.

Bingocize is open to all Kewaunee County residents who are 60 years and older. The next class is being held at ESI – the Hub, 813 Rabas St., Algoma, every Monday and Wednesday beginning April 13 through June 24 from 1-2 p.m. A $10 contribution is suggested to help to defray the costs of materials.

For more information about this class or to register, call the ADRC of the Lakeshore at 1-877-416-7083.
