LUXEMBURG - The Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce’s summer Music in the Park series opens this coming week.
The free outdoor concerts take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays from June 8 to Aug. 24 (except July 20, during the Kewaunee County Fair) at Fireman’s Centennial Park, 231 Maple St., Luxemburg. Concert goers can tailgate starting at 5:30 p.m. and should bring their own food or snacks, beverages and chairs.
The musical acts are:
June 8: Chad Przybyliski and the Polka Rhythms.
June 15: Mark Jirikovec Band, playing polkas, modern, old-time and big band dance sounds.
June 22: Classic rock from the 1950s to the ‘70s with Dr. Bombay.
June 29: Polka and more with the Sugarbush Boys.
July 6: Variety with the two-man band Notables.
July 13: Country and classic rock with Petty Cash.
July 27: Classic rock with Blind Ambition.
Aug. 3: Classic country with Interstate 45.
Aug. 10 Greatest Hits Polka Band with Ken Tebon.
Aug. 17: Luxemburg Community Band.
Aug. 24: Classic country duo Ken & Shirley.
