At what age did you start playing your main sport?
I started playing baseball when I was eight years old.
Who introduced you to the sport?
My dad introduced me to it as he played slow pitch and I was always around the diamond.
Has this always been your favorite sport?
Yes, I have loved this sport ever since I started playing.
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
It really hasn’t been a problem as I try to get all my work done in school, so I don’t have to worry about them after school when I have athletics.
What is your favorite part about this sport?
As a pitcher I like the challenge to get batters out.
What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
I like the challenge of getting better each year. Also ever since I was young my passion for the game has kept on growing.
Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, why?
Pitcher Trevor Bauer because I like his work ethic.
What would you say is your biggest asset on the court/field/pool?
Being a leader and being able to keep my teammates positive.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Winning conference in baseball for the first time in 15 years. Also, winning conference in football my senior year.
How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
As an athlete going to the weight room has helped me the most. As a person I have gained leadership skills and having underclassmen look up to me.
Do you have any pre-match rituals/routines/superstitions?
I like to listen to music before games.
Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big match/game/meet, outside of regular practices?
I like to watch film to see the other team’s tendencies, and I also look at stats to see how the other team has been playing.
Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to shout out?
I would like to shout out all the coaches and teammates I have had over the years. I wouldn’t be the player I am today without them.
Any hobbies outside of sports?
I like to play video games, golf and hang out with friends.

I prefer gatorade.
Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
Attend Concordia University of Wisconsin, majoring in marketing and also to play baseball.
