At what age did you start playing your sport? I started wrestling when I was in Kindergarten, playing football in 5th grade and track and field in 6th grade

Who introduced you to the sport? I started wrestling because a friend was doing it, football was because my brother played and I wanted to. Track and field my mom made me try it and I found out I loved it.

Has this always been your favorite sport? I have always liked all three that I currently do. I also did play basketball and baseball but my heart was in other sports.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year? It was always difficult as I was playing my sports at the highest level. This year is all about having fun.

What is your favorite part about your sport? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long? Being successful and loving the sports I have done. It also helps when you have great teammates and coaches like I have had. They always encourage me to push myself and become better

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who? Any professional athlete from Wisconsin that have made an impact in their sport.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the field/court? Being a leader
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Having the opportunity to play football with my brother 2 years ago and making a deep run in the playoffs for football. For wrestling it would be for making it to state and being able to place on the podium. For track and field it is making it to sectionals and getting better every year.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)? It has been a fun ride. I have had the chance to learn so many valuable lessons throughout my time that will benefit me in the future.

Do you have any pre-match/game rituals/routines/superstitions? I dont really have any.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big match/game/meet, outside of regular training? Try to get enough sleep and eat healthy. Try to drink plenty of water

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year? Being someone that people can ask questions and rely on. Knowing that I will be continuing to play a game I love

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to? All my teammates for being there for me and coaches that have supported me along the way. Ones that really stand out are my fellow lineman and quarterback. We have spent a lot of time together this year and it has been great.

Any hobbies outside of sports? Fishing and Hunting

Favorite song? Outside by Staind

Sports drinks like Gatorade and Powerade or water? Gatorade

Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.) I accepted an offer to play football at Bemijdi State University in Minnesota. I will be pursuing a degree in wildlife or DNR
