At what age did you start playing your sport(s)?
Five years old.

Who introduced you to your sport(s)?
My mom and dad.

What is your favorite sport?
Basketball, but softball is a very close second.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
As a senior I have now learned a lot about time management and how to stay organized. I’m definitely still busy but as the years have gone by I have figured out how to balance both.

What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?

My favorite part about my sports is the friendships I have created during them. My love for the game, along with those friendships are what has kept me going for so long.

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?
I don’t have a professional athlete but I do look up to Baleigh Delorit, Jenna Jorgenson, and Mikayla Siemers. These three have helped me on and off the court more than they will ever know.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the court?
My biggest asset is my court vision and ability to create opportunities for my teammates.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Hitting a two run walk off triple to send us to sectionals in softball my freshman year.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
Looking back, I can see how much I have grown as a person and an athlete. I have worked hard, learned a lot and figured out how to handle challenges.

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?

I eat eight chicken nuggets before every basketball game.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game, outside of regular training?
I do not.

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?
Definitely going out west with my senior class this past summer.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
I have a lot of respect for all of my coaches throughout my athletic career but I want to give a shout out to Peter Schmidt and Abby Piesler. These two have built my love for basketball and softball and are the best teachers and motivators of their respective sports.

Any hobbies outside of sports?
Skiing, traveling, hiking, shopping and hanging out with friends and family.

Favorite food?

Any pasta.

Random fun fact about you?
I love to sleep.

Dream vacation destination?
Greece.

Favorite movie/TV show?
10 Things I Hate About You.

Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I plan to attend a four year college and major in business management.
