Career Highlight: Being able to run variety my whole high school career.
At what age did you start playing your sport(s)?
Who introduced you to your sport(s)?
My mother ran cross country and for track I just decided to try one year.
What is your favorite sport?
Cross country is my all time favorite sport.
How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
My classes were hard to keep up but as the years when on they got easier to keep up with and senior year has been my easiest year so far.
What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
I have been running 5k’s since I was six years old and just stayed doing it and when I started running middle school and then high school cross country I ran varsity for the first meet of my freshman year and had never ran a jv race.
Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?
What would you say is your biggest asset on the court?
I have no idea where trained to be good at how the courses are structured and be able to do good on them and hopefully not struggle even though you sometimes do at some.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
My most memorable experience in cross country has to be this season were for the first time in sixteen years we won conference and have gone and won all of are meets so far.
How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
As the years have gone on I’ve gotten better times and been able to run faster but when you go back you almost what to go back and do it all over again from the beginning of middle school and go a the way back up to high school.
Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I don’t have any I just zone out and run my race the way I what to run it and most of the time look pissed the whole time even though I’m not.
Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game, outside of regular training?
What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?
I don’t think my favorite experience has come yet only because with the boys team we have this we have a very good shot at going to state but with what we’ve ran so far it would have to be the conference meet.
Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
Thanks to my coaches for training me through out the years and thanks to the teammates I’ve had throughout the years aswhile.
Any hobbies outside of sports?
I’m usually found working but if I’m not I’m either hunting or fishing by myself just because it is nice to be in a quiet place away form anything.
Favorite food?
I don’t have a favorite food I eat what I feel like eating and don’t have favorites.
Random fun fact about you?
Dream vacation destination?
I don’t take vacations so I don’t have a dream vacation.
Favorite movie/TV show?
My favorite TV show is deadliest catch I like watching when I can.
Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I don’t plan on going to collage but going back to working in my family farm and running my custom work business during the summer.
