At what age did you start playing your sport(s)?

I started playing most of my sports at the age of 5 or 6.

Who introduced you to your sport(s)?
My mom and stepdad both really got me into the sports I play today.

What is your favorite sport?
My favorite sport is golf.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
My freshman year I was really stressed out about getting all my work done on time, but also leaving enough time to practice whatever sport I was playing. As I got older I found if you stay focused on what you need to get done, you will have plenty of other time for sports.

What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
My favorite part about golfing is I can always get better day by day. You can never be too good at golf and I love that it always keeps me mentally in line.

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?

I look up to Kobe Bryant, because his mentality was always that he can do anything just as good as anyone.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the court?
Always trying to pick the players up if they miss a shot. Just make them know it’s okay to make a mistake, just work harder to make that mistake up.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Winning player of the year for golf for the second time in a row last year.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
Looking back to the person I was as a freshman to now I see a big change of the comfort level while playing my sports. I was always super scared to mess up when playing and now I understand it’s going to happen — just work harder to get it back.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game, outside of regular training?
I try to get into the gym as much as I can or practice outside of my regular training to get even better each day.

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?

My favorite experience is knowing this is my last year to play any sports in high school so it’s making me put as much as and then some more to win any game we play.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
One memorable teammate I would like to give a shout out to is Collin Spranger for being the senior who made me come out of my shell and play how he knew I could during the soccer season.

Any hobbies outside of sports?
I like to hang out with my friends and play ice hockey with my dad.

Favorite food?
My mom’s tacos.

Favorite movie/TV show?
“Mighty Ducks.”

Future plans? (college, major, career, etc.)

As of right now I plan to go to UW-Stout to take the Golf Enterprise Management courses.
