What is your favorite sport?
My absolute favorite sport is volleyball.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
Balancing academics and athletics has definitely changed from freshman year to senior year. As a freshman, everything felt new and it was harder to manage my time. Now as a senior, I’ve learned how to stay organized, prioritize schoolwork and handle the responsibilities that come with sports.

What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
My favorite part about my sport is the team bond and the competition. I’ve stuck with it for this long because I love improving, pushing myself, and making memories with my teammates. I am always goofy and trying to make everyone laugh and smile.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the court/field?

My biggest asset is my determination. No matter the situation, I always try to give full effort and stay positive.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
For softball, being conference and regional champs since freshman year.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
As a senior, it feels rewarding to look back and see how much I’ve grown both as a person and an athlete. I’ve become more confident, disciplined and mature over the years

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I don’t have anything huge that I would do other than every game day I would go to the gas station and buy a pre-made pink drink from Starbucks.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game or event, outside of regular training?
Outside of regular training, I make sure to get enough rest, eat well and stay mentally locked in before a big game.

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?

My favorite experience with being a senior this year has been stepping into a leadership role and enjoying the final season with my teammates. I am very goofy, and outgoing in hopes that it brings everyone up

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
I’d like to give a special shoutout to Coach Abby for everything she has done for me. She has been there for me through some of my toughest times and always knew how to lift me up when I needed it most. She constantly hyped me up, believed in me and reminded me of what I’m capable of.

Any hobbies outside of sports?
I love to work, binge watch shows/movies and hang out with family.

Favorite food?
My favorite food would definitely be sushi, Funyuns and popcorn.

Favorite movie/TV show?
I love all action and romance movies. My favorite movie series are the “After” movies.
