At what age did you start playing your sport(s)?

Around five.

Who introduced you to your sport(s)?
My dad.

What is your favorite sport?
Baseball.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
As a freshman, I was still learning how to manage my time and adjust to the expectations of high school sports and classes. But now as a senior I’ve learned how to manage my time way better.

What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
My favorite thing about my sports are definitely the people and coaches that I get to see everyday. What makes me stick with it for so long is that I constantly see improvements with my game.

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?

Yes, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the court/field?
I would say my biggest asset on the field would be my coachability.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
The 2025 baseball season.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
It feels great knowing that all these years I have grown to become a better person and an athlete.

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I listen to music in study hall.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game or event, outside of regular training?

As a pitcher, we have meetings during Storm Time to talk about opponents or ourselves.

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?
My favorite experience would have to be being around my friends everyday.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
I would like to give a shoutout to all my coaches for all the times they sacrifice for me. Also all of my teammates all these years I’ve been playing sports. Two special shoutouts will be to Coach Cal Ihlenfeldt and Coach Collin Spranger. When I was a freshman Cal was a senior and Collin was a junior, these were two guys that would help me out whenever I needed it. Now they are both JV coaches for the baseball program, So thank you guys!

Any hobbies outside of sports?
Golfing, hanging out with my friends, playing video games and going to Chipotle.

Favorite food?
Chipotle.

Favorite movie/TV show?

“Project X.”

Future plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I will be going to Lakeland University to major in business administration. I will also be playing baseball.
