At what age did you start playing your main sport?

When I was 8 I started playing football.

Who introduced you to the sport?

My father introduced me to football.

Has this always been your favorite sport?

Yes, I’ve loved many sports but football has always been on top.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?

Balancing academics and athletics hasn’t changed much only the classes. For me, it was learning how to manage my time so I could balance the two and fit them to my needs.

What is your favorite part about this sport?

I enjoy the team I get to play with and the family that develops throughout the year, that’s what I love most about the sport.

What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?

The coaches, even though they push you, want the best for you and their motivation can guide you a long way, that’s why I stuck with it.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the field/track?

I feel as though my perseverance is my greatest asset. No matter how often I get tackled or knocked down, I will always get back up.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?

My most memorable experience in high school sports was my 2023 football season and our journey to Madison.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?

Sports have definitely opened new opportunities and have pulled me out of my comfort zone to expand my horizons and help me grow as a person. I am fortunate to have coaches that pushed me to be the best version of myself.

Do you have any pre-match rituals/routines/superstitions?

No, I actually like to change things up before every game to keep things interesting.

Any hobbies outside of sports?

I like to ski, golf, swim, almost anything active.

Favorite song?

I’m not too picky when it comes to music, so I’ll listen to whatever’s playing.

Sports drinks like Gatorade and Powerade or water?

Water.

Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)

I would like to go to college and become a pilot.
