Tell us a little about your college plans:

My plans after high school are to attend Minnesota State university-Mankato for finance while also playing football.

How did you decide on that school? Did something stand out when you visited?

The decision to go there had a couple factors play into it. One of those being the town itself. I could really see myself enjoy my time there and being snake to have success in whatever I did. The academics are also second to none which played another big part. On the football side of things, the coaching staff is phenomenal and I have built good relationships with them all. The program has also had great success over the past decade so I knew I would be a good fit.

What do you think you’ll do for a career?

I’m not exactly sure what I want to do after college for my career. Some things I am a little interested in are being a financial advisor, real estate, or anything really in the business side of things for a company.

What was your most memorable moment as a high school athlete?

I’ve had lots of memorable moments in my high school career. The most memorable one for me would probably be winning a state wrestling championship my senior year.

As a three-sport athlete, do you have a strategy for how to effectively learn from three different coaches?

Being a three sport athlete definitely kept me busy year round. But I wouldn’t say I had a certain strategy that helped me learn things from coaches. One thing I did do a lot though was watch film. I would watch film from football games, wrestling matches, and at bats In baseball to see what I could do to better myself at that sport.

If you were writing a resume of your accomplishments as a high school athlete, what would be on it?

My athletic career had many memorable moments and highlights. As far as football goes, the highlight of my high school career would have to be making it to the state semi finals. Playing with that group of guys was a group I will never forget and always cherish playing with. A couple other ones would be coming back against Southern Door and Amherst. Although we didn’t win those games, we came back down three touchdowns against Amherst and two against Southern Door. It showed the resilience and heart the team had and was something I’ll never forget. As far as wrestling goes, my favorite highlights would be winning state my senior year and being able to receive conference Wrestler of the Year two years in a row and to have Kewaunee receive that award for six straight years. In baseball, my two biggest highlights would be winning a regional championship my junior year and breaking the home run record my senior year.

If you could spend a day with an NFL player, who would it be and why?

There are lots of NFL players I’d love to spend a day with, but the one player I think I’d want to spend a day with the most would probably be Joe Burrow. He’s one guy I’d say I kind of model my game after and I just love the way he plays and the mentality he has.

What are you going to miss most about Kewaunee?

The thing I’m going to miss most about Kewaunee would be not being able to be around the people I’ve had with me my whole life and that have supported me throughout my high school career.
