KEWAUNEE – The Kewaunee County Public Health Department is now accepting completed registration forms for its annual Back to School Program, which helps provide needed school supplies for approximately 300 children each year.
The families who qualify for assistance are those on WIC, Food Share or Badger Care, as well as those who partake in the free or reduced breakfast program or have found themselves in an emergency situation.
Families with students attending public or parochial schools who are in grades 4K-12, or those who are home-schooled may pick up a registration form at the Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee; Algoma Public Library 406 Freemont St., Algoma; Kewaunee Public Library, 822 Juneau St., Kewaunee; or print one off from the Kewaunee County Website at www.kewauneeco.org under “Events & Promotions” page.
The deadline to turn in registration forms is Friday, Aug. 2.
Forms can be dropped off at the health department or mailed in to 810 Lincoln Street in Kewaunee.
School Supplies will be distributed on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Lakehaven Hall, 96 Ellis St., Kewaunee, noon - 5 p.m.
