Dr. Terry Ray Reisner has joined Door County Medical Center’s Algoma Clinic as a fulltime family practice provider. He is taking appointments and will begin seeing patients Feb. 7.
Reisner comes to DCMC from his practice in Rifle, Colo. He brings more than 30 years of experience caring for patients of all ages. A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, he completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Reisner also served as a family physician at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. He has special interest and advanced training in geriatrics and sports medicine.
“We know Dr. Reisner will make a strong impact on patients, and he is already finding ways to become involved in the community,” said Kim Swiggum, supervisor at the Algoma clinic.
Dr. Reisner joins Nurse Practitioner Missie Minerath as well as a host of specialists who provide orthopedics, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, podiatry, rheumatology, behavioral health and diabetic services at the clinic.
