Robert (Bob) Robinson, 72, Algoma, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Bellin Hospital. Bob never put value on material things, but the thing he did treasure was his family, especially his amazing wife Sandy (54 years of marriage) and his four boys Bobby (Sue), Patrick (Jaime), John (Sam), and Marty (Jackie). All of his nine grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, Avery, Caleb, Connor, Gracie, Griffin, Maddie and Ryley were incredibly precious to him. Anyone who knew Bob well, knew he had an unbelievable way with the ones he loved. He made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Bob had the innate ability to always have the answer if you had a problem. He was selfless with his endless wisdom and unconditional love. Bob possessed an unbelievable sense of humor that could win over anyone with whom he shared it. His wit, intellect, and creativity would astonish those who met him. Soon after they would call him their friend. Bob was not shy when it came to his love of music - the louder the better! His love for rock and roll inspired him to pick up a guitar in his teens and, let’s just say, he burned through a few amps in his day. To say Bob loved the outdoors would not do it justice. Give that man a fishing pole or an old rusty barreled gun and you best be ready for a feast. Believe us, he also knew what he was doing in the kitchen - just ask his wife, kids, or fortunate visitors. It's hard to encapsulate one’s life in a few words, but in the end the most defining characteristic of Bob was his unconditional love!
There will be a celebration of life for Bob on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Algoma, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, with an opportunity for people to share their stories about Bob during the celebration.
