Rolling into the future: Careers on Wheels

Careers on Wheels is back and rolling into another exciting year of exploration for Luxemburg-Casco students in grades 4K-6. This event gives students the unique opportunity to interact with local businesses, ask questions and see career pathways up close. From hands-on demonstrations to real-world conversations, Careers on Wheels helps students spark curiosity about the many possibilities that lie ahead.

Last year’s event was our most successful yet, with 23 businesses participating. Students learned about diverse career clusters including healthcare, photography, farming, conservation with the DNR and a variety of skilled trades. Many of these businesses were led by parents from our own community, making the day even more meaningful for students who could see familiar faces representing exciting career paths.

This year’s Careers on Wheels event will take place on May 14, 2026, and we are hoping to match — or even exceed — the fantastic turnout from last year. By showcasing a wide range of careers, our goal is to help students dream big and discover how their interests might one day connect to a career.

If you or your business would like to be part of this year’s Careers on Wheels, we’d love to have you join us! Please reach out to Mrs. Garceau at dgarceau@luxcasco.k12.wi.us to get involved.
