Ronald M. Dahlke, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Kewaunee on October 14, 2023. He was born on August 13, 1941, in Kewaunee, to the late Marvin and Isabell (Karnopp) Dahlke.
Ronald led a fulfilling career as a machine operator for Kewaunee Fabrication for an impressive span of 38 years. His dedication and hard work were exemplary, making him a highly respected member of the company and the community.
Before pursuing his profession with dedication, Ronald served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era as a maintenance man aboard the U.S.S. Stribling. His time in the military instilled in him discipline, integrity, and a deep sense of patriotism.
Outside of work, Ronald enjoyed various hobbies that brought him joy and fulfillment. He found solace in doing yard work, tending to his garden with meticulous care, and working with his beloved John Deere tractor. Ronald cherished spending time with others. He valued meaningful conversations and created lasting connections wherever he went.
Ronald will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who always put family first. He leaves behind cherished memories to be treasured by his surviving family members: sons John Dahlke and Paul Dahlke; grandchildren Alyysa Dahlke and Nathan Dahlke; brother Allan (Rosa) Dahlke; sister Sandra (Michael) Pelnar; sister Patricia Dahlke. He was preceded in death and has reunited with his parents, Marvin and Isabell Dahlke; as well as his son Mark Dahlke and grandson Joshua Dahlke.
A visitation to honor Ronald's memory will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services Kewaunee, located at 1425 Ellis St, Kewaunee, WI, on October 27, 2023. The visitation will begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to pay their final respects.
