Santa visits Luxemburg

LUXEMBURG – The holiday season was kicked into full gear on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Luxemburg Village Hall Gym thanks to a visit from Santa Claus.

Children were able to have their picture taken with Santa and let him know if they have been nice this year. Mrs. Claus also took a break from the North Pole to create animal designs out of balloons to give to the children.

The Luxemburg-Casco Intermediate School Band and Choir both entertained the crowd. Members from the high school performed later in the evening.

Horse-drawn wagon rides were also provided by Mike Malcore, president of Malcore Concrete.

Attendees were encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, all of which will be donated to the Marv’s Bin Food Pantry.

The event was sponsored by the Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
